Instructors: Course Materials Resources

Order Early

We understand that there still may be changes & uncertainties regarding course offerings, but we ask that you place your orders as soon as possible so that we can do our best to get the necessary materials in time for start of classes.

We ask that any changes or cancellations with your course schedule be communicated to us as soon as possible. This allows us to avoid unnecessary materials being transported/processed/handled etc. & to avoid students ordering/shipping books that they no longer need.

Important Information Regarding Course Materials

In order to avoid as many supply problems as possible, the Bookstore will be relying more heavily on digital options whenever available, and ordering fewer physical copies for those titles. For titles where a digital option is not available, we will continue to order physical copies.

If you know that your materials are offered at the UBC Library online, please let us know so we can bring in fewer copies and help direct students on where to obtain the correct materials.

We recommend that you do not direct students to purchase digital materials directly from external websites: digital materials obtained outside of the UBC Bookstore or UBC Library can result in access and privacy issues for students.
Although things are slowly returning to normal, please be aware that many publishers are still experiencing longer than normal processing times, and that we are still experiencing delays with shipping companies.
