How it Works
Faculty and staff participating in graduation ceremonies require appropriate academic regalia. Reserve online in advance, or on-site the day of your ceremony.

Important Information
Fall Ceremony Dates: November 25-27, 2026
Gown collection
Collect 30-40 minutes before the ceremony
Royal Bank Cinema, The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts
Access: Via Royal Bank Cinema entrance off Crescent Road
Please bring ID and confirmation number.
Gown return
Please return your gown to the same location after the ceremony ends.
Payment By Worktag
Colleagues wishing to use the internal worktag charging system can complete the order form below.
For colleauges without an open account with the Bookstore, please send your completed application to faculty.rentals@ubc.ca.
Day of Rentals
Payment Options: Cash, credit, debit, or Worktag account
Arrival Time: Minimum 45-60 minutes before ceremony start time
Please note: Faculty must convene in the Robing Room 30 minutes before ceremony
