We partner with faculty to provide a range of products and services to support teaching and research. Our experienced staff can provide assistance when required.  We always welcome your input and feedback on how we can improve processes. The Bookstore is owned and operated by UBC and revenue generated by the store is re-invested on campus.

Services:

• Course materials information and support. The next date for ordering your course materials is March 1, 2012. The first 10 to order will be given a gift card. Please order by this date so that we can guarantee your titles will be here for your students on their first day of class. You can order now using this form - you can either fax it to us or scan it. • Special order service. If you want a book that we do not  have in stock, we can order it for you

• IT Services help desk and free charging station (to charge phones, smart phones and iPods)

• Online ordering - Want to buy something from us, but you cannot make it to the Bookstore? We will deliver free across campus (except Residence Halls). Just choose the option at checkout

• Coffee bar and refreshments

• Donations: we provide donations in the form of sponsorship and gift cards/giveaways to many campus groups and organizations. Please contact us if you'd like us to consider your request.

Products:

• Course materials. Working with you on course materials adoptions as early as possible, as well as creating your custom course materials, are very important to us. We are also constantly looking at ways to reduce costs of course materials for our students, such as our new rental program enabling students to rent any book over $50 (excluding ebooks and custom course). We rent in-store, online or through our affiliate with over 3000 titles online at 55 per cent off the new price

• Books (non-course/medical). We would welcome your input on the books we carry in-store. Please contact us and we will send you a current list for your department. You can then let us know which titles are relevant and which new titles you would like to see. We do stock a wide online selection of medical books through our partnership with Login

• Computers at educational pricing and great phone plans

• Clothing and giftware, including gift cards

• Stationery

• Stamps.

We listen to and work closely with faculty in a number of ways:

• Bookstore Advisory Committee.   Composed of faculty, students and staff members, the two advisory committees (Vancouver and Okanagan) provide feedback on products and service 

• Faculty Authors. Books written by UBC Authors are displayed in our stores.  Published a book? Contact us
